About Us

The SoCal Student Stock Society Club was created in Fall 2021 for the purpose of continuing the financial education of students who had recently taken a stock market and investing course that was taught at a local middle school.  Membership in SSSS is by invitation only and is offered to those students who had demonstrated, through classwork and participation, an interest in stocks and investing, and who were considered capable of grasping the advanced investing concepts discussed in the Club and discussing those concepts.

Charts to help understanding

To supplement our monthly meetings, Mr. Silvers regularly emails to the members various charts and data to further their understanding of economic developments, historical stock market performance and metrics, and other investment-related topics.  These emails include his explanations as to various ways to interpret the charts and data.

The SoCal Student Stock Society meets either online or in-person monthly. Be ready to discuss the news through stocks, investment choices and more! You can also present at our meetings if you want to discuss a certain topic. Collaboration with others is an option for projects.
